I grew up in Canberra, in fact I lived there almost my whole life. Its funny how you take things for granted, almost not even seeing some things at all. Its just normal, its nothing amazing.
Removing yourself from situations quickly brings things to light, literally! I had completely taken the glorious winter light for granted for 30 years. Canberra has light like no other city, especially at this time of year. Its deliciously warm and golden, almost an unbeleivable shade of pure orange.
To get the opportunity to capture Kylie and Adams beautiful, intimate wedding in that glorious light, on the most spectacular propery, over looking the hills, with golden fields, kissed by that beautiful light was beyond amazing. The soft, pastel tones you get just before that glow, the gorgeous Autumn colours, the feeling of crisp, cool air.... what an amazing time of year to be married.
They had the most beautiful ceremony, under a gorgeous old tree in the gardens of Poachers Pantry, followed by a warm, cozy reception in the restaurant.
It was just beautiful and I am so grateful to get the chance to witness such stunning scenery every weekend. Thank you, to you all for giving me that chance. What an incredible country we live in!
Kylie and Adam, thank you, for sharing your beautiful day with us, for allowing us to be out in that light, for the Autumn goodness and for the opportunity to witness, one of the most special days in your lives.
